Challenging Topography

Our client wanted to create an entertaining area that included a swimming pool, extensive terrace, shaded area, and a serving bar. The dramatic changes in the topography of this site presented our team with a challenge. The grade was lowered and a level area for the pool was created. Changing the grade also opened up a vista to a mature woodland area. Careful consideration of the existing natural setting ensured a landscape design that was functional yet responsive to the tranquility of the woodland environment.
